Moved and Rose & Sage welcome you to join us as we honour the year’s most optimistic transition — Ostara, or the Spring Equinox.
Ostara marks the point in the year when dark and light reach an equilibrium, bringing our attention to restoring balance to our own lives. It is a time for celebrating fertility and, thus, a magical time to return to the woods as they awaken with new life.
Join us as we plant seeds of intention and look to the goals we hope to achieve as the year’s energy begins to rise. For those new to The Moving Circle, it’s a chance to discover Blean Woods — our now sacred space — as they take on the first, tentative colours of spring. For those returning, it’s a chance to witness how this place has shifted, as we have, since we last visited.
We'll walk together into the woodland, taking care to notice the sense of burgeoning life. We’ll journal to capture the sentiment of the day, then take a walk to gather natural objects with which we can co-create our symbolic earth altar. We’ll then come together in Circle where those who wish to can share their thoughts before closing our day with another gentle walk.
Come and walk the Wheel of the Year with us, embracing nature in all her beauty and sisterhood in all its sacredness.
LIMITED SPACES - As we want to maintain the intimacy and connection of our Moving Circle, spaces are limited to 12 women only. Booking ahead is recommended.

10:30 AM - Welcoming walk
10:45 AM - Outdoor journalling
11 AM - Woodland walk and object-gathering
12:30 PM - Sharing circle, offerings and oracle cards
1:30 PM - Closing walk
2 PM - Finish
HOW TO GET THERE
For those driving, free parking is available at the free RSPB car park near Rough Common. For those using public transport, buses run regularly from Canterbury bus station to Rough Common Turn.
