Join Moved at the quintessential English seaside town of Deal, on a crisp November morning, for this picturesque clifftop hike to Dover. Meeting at Deal Station at 10am, we’ll walk along the seafront promenade, passing rows of pastel-coloured Victorian houses — with plenty of options for coffee and snacks as we go.
We’ll then make our way along the coast, past Walmer and its historic castle, before leaving the town behind for a more rugged stretch of shoreline. Passing through the charming enclave of St Margaret’s Bay, we’ll follow the cliff edge along to Dover — all the while with endless views out to sea.
It’ll likely be brisk at this time of year, so wrap up! Bring wet-weather gear and sturdy footwear, and carry at least a litre of water with you. We can fill up and grab food and snacks in Deal, but then we’ll be a little more out on a limb.
