Join this late-summer circular hike through the gorgeous, undulating Surrey landscape, beginning in the historic town of Oxted. We’ll meet at 10:30am, at Oxted Station, before heading straight into the rolling hills of the Oxted Downs and on through the Surrey Hills AONB. At this time of year, we may catch the last of the wildflowers as we pass through meadows and pastoral lands, interjected with swathes of cool, shaded woodland.
It’s hilly terrain, so it may be a little challenging, but we’ll have the opportunity to stop for a break — even a cheeky half — at either Tandridge or Godstone. And we’ll be able to grab a coffee in Oxted before we hit the trail.
It could be muddy after bad weather, so be prepared! Bring at least 2 litres of water and some lunch or snacks.
